Airport transfers

The Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart is highly accessible. 

  • Taxis take 14 minutes and cost $40–$50 from the airport 
  • SkyBus offers direct, affordable airport transfers
  • Public transport uses the Metro Greencard or single tickets
  • There are also several rental car agencies and ride-share services available at the airport

*Coach transfers will be arranged for ASM attendees from the meeting venue to the airport on the final day of the ASM.

Climate in November

November in Nipaluna / Hobart offers mild spring weather, with fresh mornings and pleasantly warm days. Temperatures typically range from 14°C to low 20°C, making it ideal for sightseeing, walking and outdoor activities. Be prepared for sudden changes in the weather, especially if bushwalking in parks and reserves. Always carry extra warm clothing, including a waterproof outer layer.
