Low and middle income countries

To fulfill our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, GI Cancer Trials offers a registration category for GI oncology clinicians and researchers from low and middle-income countries (World Bank classified). This reduced-rate registration category aims to make the GI Cancer Trials ASM more accessible and also share the knowledge and research insights wider to benefit more people with GI cancer.

Other registrations

Group registration

This option is available if you wish to register multiple delegates from your organisation. Please contact GI Cancer Trials to receive instructions and access to the registration link. Once all delegate registrations are complete, the Group Manager can finalise the group and either make a single payment or prompt delegates to pay individually.

Industry pass

Sponsor companies are entitled to a number of complimentary registrations, depending on the sponsorship level. For additional registrations, please contact GI Cancer Trials.

Registration confirmation

You will receive a confirmation email with your registration details once you have completed the registration form. Please contact GI Cancer Trials if:

  • You do not receive any confirmation email (after checking your spam or junk folder)
  • You wish to make changes to your registration

Travel grants

GI Cancer Trials supports members with limited access to financial resources to attend the ASM by offering travel grants. If your application is supported, you will receive:

  • Full (4 days) ASM registration, including all social functions
  • Up to $500 towards travel and accommodation

Selection criteria

  • Recipients have not previously received any travel support from GI Cancer Trials.
  • Recipients must be a GI Cancer Trials member or submit an application to become a GI Cancer Trials member at the time of application.
  • Priority will be given to applicants working at rural, regional or remote centres. The grant will be provided to no more than one applicant per site.
  • Priority will be given to applicants who have limited access to financial support, including study coordinators, nurses, data managers, medical students and scientists.
  • Recipients must attend the entire meeting and provide a summary of their experience at the meeting prior to funds being released. The detail should be submitted to GI Cancer Trials.

Confidentiality & Intellectual Property Notice

All content presented at the ASM (including slides, data, abstracts, and discussions) is confidential and remains the intellectual property of the presenting authors or their institutions. They include preliminary or unpublished research and must not be cited, reproduced, or disclosed publicly without explicit consent.

Attendees are expected to respect all confidentiality requirements associated with clinical and scientific information presented. By registering for and attending this meeting, you agree not to distribute any presentation materials without prior written permission from the presenter and/or GI Cancer Trials. If you are unsure whether information can be shared, please seek permission from the presenter or GI Cancer Trials before doing so.

Cancellation policy

Registration

If notification of cancellation is made in writing to GI Cancer Trials prior to Monday 26 October 2026, a full refund will be given (less an AUD $100 processing fee). No refund will be given after that date, however, a substitute delegate may be accepted. Please email details in writing to GI Cancer Trials and ensure that you receive a confirmation of the transfer in return.

Accommodation

GI Cancer Trials has reserved a number of rooms at special ASM rates with selected hotels. You can view the full list here. Accommodation must be pre-paid at the time of registration. If you are unsure about your travel plans, you may complete your ASM registration now and return to the registration form later to finalise your accommodation booking. All cancellations and changes need to be made through GI Cancer Trials only.

Photography

There may be photographs taken throughout the ASM and at the social functions. These may be used for promotional activities, including the ASM website and social media. If you do not want your photograph taken, or used, please notify the photographer onsite at your earliest convenience.
