Travel grants
A limited number of travel grants are available to GI Cancer Trials members with limited access to financial resources to attend the ASM. If your application is supported, you will receive:
- Full (4 days) ASM registration, including all social functions
- Up to $500 towards travel and accommodation
Applications are expected to open in April. Please check back for more information.
Selection criteria
- Recipients have not previously received any travel support from GI Cancer Trials.
- Recipients must be a GI Cancer Trials member or submit an application to become a GI Cancer Trials member at the time of application.
- Priority will be given to applicants working at rural, regional or remote centres. The grant will be provided to no more than one applicant per site.
- Priority will be given to applicants who have limited access to financial support, including study coordinators, nurses, data managers, medical students and scientists.
- Recipients must attend the entire meeting and provide a summary of their experience at the meeting prior to funds being released. The detail should be submitted to GI Cancer Trials.
